Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan

Instructions
 

  • Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  • Add the milk, egg, and melted butter to the banana and mix well.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add cooking spray or butter.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  • Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Flip pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from skillet and keep warm while cooking remaining pancakes.
  • Serve warm with syrup or toppings of your choice.
