- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan
Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Add the milk, egg, and melted butter to the banana and mix well.
In another bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add cooking spray or butter.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
Flip pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from skillet and keep warm while cooking remaining pancakes.
