- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup milk
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture.
Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Pour in the milk gradually, stirring until just combined.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times.
Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thickness.
Cut out circles using a biscuit cutter and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and serve warm.
