Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter into the flour mixture.
  • Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk gradually, stirring until just combined.
  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times.
  • Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thickness.
  • Cut out circles using a biscuit cutter and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm.
