- 8 oz. noodles spaghetti or lo mein
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables carrots, bell peppers, peas
- 1 green onion sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs basil or cilantro for garnish
Boil water in a large pot and cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
Drain the noodles and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
In a bowl, mix soy sauce and sesame oil together.
Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with vegetables.
Pour the soy sauce mixture over the noodles and toss to coat evenly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onion on top before serving.
