Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Sear chicken in the skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  • Add cooked rice to the skillet, mixing thoroughly with the sauce.
  • Place the chicken back on top of the rice mixture.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
