Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup heavy cream or milk
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Beat softened butter until creamy in a large mixing bowl.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing on low speed.
  • Increase speed to medium and mix until well combined.
  • Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  • Slowly pour in heavy cream or milk, mixing until desired consistency.
  • Beat for another 2-3 minutes to make the frosting fluffy.
  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is mixed evenly.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or chocolate flavor if necessary.
  • Use immediately or store for later use.
