- 4 medium potatoes diced
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Peel and dice the potatoes into small cubes.
Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Add the diced potatoes, onion, and garlic to the crock pot.
Pour in the vegetable or chicken broth.
