Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir well.
  • Bring to a gentle simmer and let thicken slightly.
  • Reduce heat and whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • If too thick, add more cream to reach desired consistency.
  • Remove from heat and let sit for a minute.
  • Serve immediately over cooked pasta.
