Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Cut mozzarella sticks in half if desired.
  • Set up a breading station with bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and a breadcrumb mixture.
  • Dredge each mozzarella stick in flour, shake off excess.
  • Dip in beaten eggs, coating evenly.
  • Roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Repeat the process for each stick.
  • Place breaded sticks on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  • Fry mozzarella sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
