- Wonton wrappers
- 1 cup ground pork
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 green onion finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup mushrooms sliced
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a bowl, mix ground pork, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onion, ginger, salt, and pepper.
Place a wonton wrapper in the palm of your hand and add a teaspoon of filling in the center.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to seal tightly.
Bring the two corners of the triangle together and pinch to seal.
Repeat until all filling is used.
In a pot, bring chicken broth to a boil and add sliced mushrooms.
Gently drop in the wontons and cook for 5-7 minutes until they float.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
