Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions chopped

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • Place the chicken in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
  • Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  • Discard the used marinade.
  • Place the chicken on the grill, skin side down.
  • Grill for 10-12 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
  • Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
