- 4 chicken thighs or drumsticks
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 2 green onions chopped
In a bowl, mix soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
Place the chicken in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
Discard the used marinade.
Place the chicken on the grill, skin side down.
Grill for 10-12 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-12 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
