Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  • Pour in the crushed tomatoes, stirring to combine.
  • Add dried basil and oregano, mixing well.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Simmer the sauce on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
  • Serve over cooked ravioli and garnish with grated Parmesan and fresh basil.
