Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups cooked pasta elbow macaroni or similar
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper; sauté until softened.
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce.
  • Transfer half of the pasta mixture to a greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the pasta layer.
  • Add the remaining pasta mixture on top, followed by the rest of the cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
