White Chicken Chili Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can 15 oz white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 4 oz diced green chilies
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  • Add the chicken breasts and cook until lightly browned.
  • Stir in the diced green chilies, cumin, oregano, and chili powder.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  • Add the white beans and stir well.
  • Mix in the sour cream until well combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
